CNC Machinist 2nd Shift

CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift sought for Gleason. Role involves setting up and operating conventional and CNC machine tools (lathe, mill, multi-axis CNC centers, grinding) to produce precision parts in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include reading blueprints and technical directives, performing basic to advanced machine set-ups, selecting tools and materials, verifying dimensions with precision gauges, and maintaining tolerances to tight specifications (to .001” and beyond). The position supports a Machinist Career Ladder (Level I–IV), requires knowledge of machining mathematics and blueprint interpretation, and includes inspection of finished parts to meet print specifications.
