Job Summary
Eaton Aerospace Group seeks a CNC Machinist for 2nd shift in Jackson, MS. Rotate through lean cell functions and other lean cells; visually and physically inspect parts using functional measuring equipment; apply SPC and other problem-solving methods to ensure quality. Interpret complex drawings and specifications. Set up and operate CNC and manual machines (lathes, mills, grinders, hone, lap) and maintain tolerances; manage tool return and workspace cleanliness. Perform sub-assembly operations (pins, plugs, inserts, bearings, etc.). Safety-sensitive position with pre-employment DOT drug testing; comprehensive benefits; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Machining certificate or Associate's degree in a technical field, OR minimum of two (2) years of machining experience
- CNC experience with lathes, mills, grinders, manual hone, or lap
