Job Summary
CNC Machinist sets up and operates computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts per prints; loads parts, cycles machine, detects malfunctions, and communicates with co-workers on production runs. Tasks include milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, sawing and sanding; performs inspection of machined products and documents results; maintains clean and safe work area; may assist in other fabrication areas and operate multiple machines based on cycle times. Requires ability to read prints and follow safety procedures; 40 hours/week with potential overtime; first or second shift available.
