Job Summary
CNC Machinist on 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3:30pm–2am) producing machined parts using an HNK Mill. Responsibilities include programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment, maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment. Requires extensive milling/boring-mill experience, fixture creation, blueprints/shop-drawings interpretation, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a job-shop setting; Mastercam experience is a plus. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with Milling machines/horizontal boring mills
- 5+ years of experience in set-up, creating fixtures, and starting your own machine in a job shop environment
- MasterCam programming experience is a plus
- Knowledge of and experience with machine and tools, including their design, uses, repair and maintenance
- Ability to interpret blueprints, shop drawings, sketches and work orders
- Ability to move or transfer products with a hoist or overhead crane
- Ability to work independently without daily supervision
- Ability to work overtime as/if needed
