Job Summary
CNC Machinist – setup and operate CNC Mills and Lathes to fabricate metallic and non-metallic parts. Read and interpret drawings with GD&T (ANSI Y-14.5), inspect parts with precision measuring tools, and maintain tight tolerances. Record inspection results, maintain equipment and work area, and assist in process optimization with the CNC Programmer. Shift 3pm–1am, Mon–Thu; location: York, PA.
Required Qualifications
- Set-up and operate CNC Mills and Lathes
- Read and interpret customer drawings with GD&T per ANSI Y-14.5
- Proficient knowledge of CNC controls (Mazak, Fanuc)
- Perform manual CNC program edits as required
- Inspect work using micrometers, bore gauges, dial calipers or equivalent
- Maintain tolerances as close as 0.002" over 55" diameter
- Document inspection results on IDS sheets/inspection prints
- Keep equipment and work area clean and well-maintained
- Follow preventative maintenance procedures
- Document daily activities to ensure performance per job standards
- Manufacture components within time estimates
- Collaborate with CNC Programmer to optimize processes
- Possess Mastercam programming experience (plus)
- ISO-9001/AS9100 environment experience (plus)
