Job Summary
CNC Machinist performing setups on CNC machines (lathes, horizontal mills, vertical mills, and 5-axis mills) safely and productively; lay out components to verify stock for machinability; machine parts to drawing specifications; edit CNC programs as necessary; calculate dimensions and tolerances using math and inspection tools (micrometers, Vernier calipers) to ensure components meet drawings; interpret blueprints; maintain a safe, clean working environment; shift is 3pm-11pm with possible OT; PA Journeyman papers preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- PA State Approved Journeyman Machinist or Journeyman Tool & Die Makers Papers
- Ability to pass a working physical
- Knowledge of G+M codes a plus
- Ability to interpret Blueprints
