Job Summary
Prepare and operate a 3-axis CNC mill, water jet, and turning centers while importing 3D models into programming software. Set up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting vises, chucks, tools, and attachments; generate G-Code files and load raw materials safely. Inspect and measure all parts for precision, check and maintain CNC machinery daily for functionality, and enter drawings and bills of material into machine manuals. Handle multiple projects within time constraints, participate in training sessions, and assist with training other employees. Work as a member of a team while maintaining reliable attendance and demonstrating core values in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in CNC Machining or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 5 years' experience running CNC or manual type equipment
- Strong knowledge of CAD CAM software
- Project management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Work independently, as well as, in a team environment
- Document management system
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
