Job Summary
CNC Machinist on 2nd Shift responsible for interpreting engineering drawings and CNC programs, setting up Mazak vertical machining centers and tooling accurately, and programming in Mazatrol. Candidate will adjust offsets, maximize efficiency by inspecting/cleaning during cycles, inspect machined parts to confirm tolerances, communicate quality/quantity issues to management, and assist with other machine shop projects as needed. Strong attention to detail is required; experience with Mazak mills and Mazatrol programming/CMM/inspection equipment is preferred. Education includes a high school diploma or GED with Trade School plus CNC experience or several years of CNC experience; willing to train the right candidate. Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and stand 8-10 hours/day is required. Salary is competitive with benefits including PTO, health insurance, and retirement contributions. Location is Glendale, WI on-site (2nd shift: Tue-Thu 1pm-11pm and Fri 12pm-10pm).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Trade School plus 1 year CNC Machining experience -OR- 3+ years CNC Machining experience preferred
- Experience on Mazak mills is helpful
- Knowledge of Mazatrol programming, CMM and inspection equipment is preferred
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to stand 8-10 hours a day
