Job Summary
CNC Machinist on 2nd shift (4x10) at Woodward. Responsible for setting up and operating multiple CNC or manual machines (Lathes, Mills, Swiss, OD/ID grinders) to produce precision metal parts per specifications. Performs 1st piece inspections, interprets engineering blueprints and GD&T, and follows SOPs to maintain production efficiency and quality. Maintains 5S standards, supports lean initiatives, and collaborates with cross-functional teams. Level 2 responsibilities include more advanced setups, deeper GD&T knowledge, and leadership in 5S and continuous improvement. Shift starts at 3:30pm, Monday to Thursday, 4X10.
