Job Summary
CNC Machinist on 2nd shift (4-day work week) at G.S. Precision in Chesterfield, NH. Responsibilities include operating machines after setup, adjusting tool offsets to meet tolerances as per production sketches, inspecting parts with micrometers, verniers, gauges and fixtures, recognizing when adjustments are needed, reporting problems to supervision, maintaining production cards and equipment in good condition, and adhering to company policies and safety standards. Requires ability to read blueprints, understand measurement and inspection devices, and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Shift includes 2nd shift with differential pay.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 3 months - 1 year or more of experience
- Ability to interpret blueprints
- Capacity to understand measurement and inspection devices
- Understand part placement to achieve optimum efficiency
- Able to operate multiple machines simultaneously
