Job Summary
CNC Machinist on 2nd & 3rd shifts responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling centers, performing operations such as boring, turning, tapping, threading, milling, drilling, reaming, broaching, chamfering, and deburring. Will also assist with fixtures and tools, produce parts for prototypes and maintenance, perform part inspection with measuring tools, maintain a safe, organized shop, and follow established procedures under general supervision. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years of CNC milling experience, basic shop math, and ability to read measuring/inspection equipment; NIMS certification is desirable.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years on-the-job experience setting up and operating Vertical Milling CNCs
- Basic knowledge of shop math
- Ability to read and understand measuring and inspection equipment, tools
- Intermediate blueprint reading is desirable
