Job Summary

Plan and perform CNC turning and milling operations to fabricate metal parts per blueprints and specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and engineering instructions, set up and operate lathes and milling machines, select tools and fixtures, measure with micrometers and gauges, verify dimensions, maintain in-process inspection records, and ensure part quality and proper lubrication/cooling. Maintain safety and housekeeping standards and report any faults. Includes using precision instruments, adjusting machine tools, and handling tooling and materials for precision machining.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Degree or GED
  • 3+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by the U.S. Government and able to work without restrictions with ITAR related data
  • Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English at a functional level
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering work instructions
  • Ability to measure using standard shop tools, machine tools, and engineered gaging to close established tolerances
  • Knowledge of machines codes and G codes
  • Ability to travel domestically – 5% max
