CNC Machinist - 1st Shift

Job Summary
The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC and manual machines, with a focus on milling. Key duties include machining and testing parts to meet engineering and customer standards, maintaining documentation, and participating in establishing manufacturing processes. The candidate should possess at least two years of relevant machining experience, demonstrate knowledge of blueprint reading, and adhere to safety standards. Additional responsibilities include performing machine maintenance and ensuring workspace organization, while also potentially guiding less experienced team members.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of machining experience
- Mill experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Knowledge of machining and testing related mathematical concepts
- Basic knowledge of inspection requirements and techniques
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, push/pull 60 lbs, and grip strength of at least 50 lbs
Additional Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
