Job Summary
Operate computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts, loading components, cycling machines, and detecting malfunctions like worn cutting tools. Run production lots while communicating with co-workers, maintaining a safe, organized, and clean work environment. Perform preventative maintenance, document procedures, and inspect machined products to meet print specifications using handheld measuring tools. Complete paperwork for parts, perform basic troubleshooting, and adhere to safety policies. Requires ability to lift up to 35 pounds, read drawings, and use simple math.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to stand, walk (on concrete surfaces), bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and lift to perform repetitive movements
- Must be able to lift/push/pull objects up to 35 pounds, heavier objects require assistance
- Ability to adhere to safety policies
- Must have working command of the English language and be able to communicate orally and in writing (basic oral instructions, simple written memos and instructions)
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers, use simple math to perform basic calculations and use basic hand held measuring tools
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- CNC Associates Degree from Technical School required
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years Manufacturing Experience preferred
