Job Summary
CNC Machinist (1st shift) responsible for evaluating hydraulic cylinders and components, repairing/reusing parts, setting up and running the equipment per work instructions, inspecting parts during run, maintaining tooling/inserts, conducting maintenance inspections, and performing final testing per prints and customer specifications. The role requires reading blueprints, using precision measurement equipment, and collaborating with supervision to prioritize and assemble components, including using torquer and nut-buster tools and testing stands when trained.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two-year Associate Degree in Machine Tool techniques with one year of on-the-job CNC Machinist experience required
- With no applicable degree, minimum of three years of on-the-job CNC Machinist experience required
- Must be able to read and understand blue prints
- Set up and operate precision measurement equipment
- Must be able to work independently
