Job Summary
Operate numerically controlled machining and turning centers to produce precision parts and instruments within +/- .05mm tolerances. Identify tooling, machine malfunctions, and operating problems, then report issues to the lead contact for corrections and adjustments. Use micrometers, electronic gauges, calipers, and other measurement tools to check work for dimensional accuracy, making minor adjustments to maintain tolerance and finish requirements. Perform minor tool changes, load, inspect, assemble, and pack parts according to visual operator manufacturing instructions and quality alerts. Fill out required documentation and follow inspection frequencies. Requires 2 to 3 years of experience with Fanuc controls on Mori Seki, Okumas, or Harding machines.
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Fanuc controls on machines such as the Mori Seki, Okumas, Harding, etc.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience working on CNC machines
- Ability to lift/handle heavy objects frequently
