Job Summary
Operate CNC lathe equipment to produce parts that meet dimensional specifications; perform machining, cleaning, and inspection of own work. Read blueprints, monitor tool wear and make offsets, deburr and clean parts, and complete quality control documentation/inspection sheets. Report issues to supervisor and maintain a safe, efficient work environment. Requires high school or trade school diploma and 1+ year CNC operator experience; shift is 6:50am–3:20pm, Monday–Friday. Responsibilities include performing random inspections (visual, microscope), tool changes, and communicating problems; adhere to safety protocols and participate in ongoing training and company initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High School or Trade School diploma
- 1+ years CNC machine operator experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to use Calipers and Micrometers
- Ability to monitor tool wear and make dimensional adjustments (offsets)
- Ability to operate CNC lathe equipment
- Ability to perform quality control inspections
- Ability to work 6:50am - 3:20pm, Monday - Friday
