CNC Machine Operator

Job Summary
Cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws, and join pieces with adhesive and clamps. Set up equipment and layout fabrication projects from blueprints, then measure components to ensure correct dimensions within required tolerances. Troubleshoot machinery, material, saw, measuring equipment, and tooling while maintaining equipment safely. Visually inspect extrusions against technical drawings to report defects and participate in continuous improvement and LEAN manufacturing activities. Perform roll tooling changeovers and maintain work areas in a clean, orderly condition while adhering to proper lock-out procedures and PPE requirements. Work Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to lift a maximum of 40 pounds
- Able to stand 8-10 hours per day at assigned work area
- Background check required
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience of machinery in manufacturing environment or similar
- Experience with LEAN manufacturing, 6S, Six Sigma
- Experience in a fast-paced, high performance manufacturing environment
