CNC MACHINE OPERATOR

Job Summary
Operate CNC machinery and woodworking equipment to fabricate precision components per CAD/Revit drawings and production specs. Responsibilities include preparing materials, setting up and running machines, performing cutting, drilling, milling, grinding, inspecting finished parts, and maintaining safety and quality across full production cycles. Requires reading CAD/Revit drawings, translating instructions to machine commands, loading materials, performing test runs, adjusting settings for quality, and using woodworking tools (table saw, band saw, miter saw, pneumatic tools) to build forms and bulkheads. Strong mechanical aptitude, math skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety are essential. The role emphasizes adherence to safety practices, teamwork, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Second shift position with emphasis on accuracy, reliability, and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical training or carpentry experience preferred
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn CNC machine operation and woodworking equipment
- Forklift experience preferred
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Ability to read CAD, Revit drawings and perform measurements to verify tolerances
