Job Summary
Read and interpret CAD, Revit drawings, and pour sheets to understand project specifications. Program and operate CNC machines for cutting, drilling, milling, and grinding tasks while preparing and staging raw materials. Conduct test runs, adjust settings, and monitor performance to ensure output meets required specifications. Safely operate woodworking equipment like table saws and band saws to build forms and bulkheads. Inspect, measure, and verify finished products against drawings and tolerances. Maintain machinery, follow safety procedures, and complete additional assigned duties. This is a second shift position requiring up to 12-hour stands, physical lifting up to 75 lbs, and work at heights.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm use
- Capable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hours
- Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts frequently
- Ability to work safely in a production or field environment with moderate to high exposure to safety risks and hazards
- Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather, and outdoors
- Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required by the task, department, or work area
- Ability to read tape measures and interpret drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Basic math skills
- Second shift availability
Desired Qualifications
- Technical training or carpentry experience
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn CNC machine operation and woodworking equipment
- Forklift experience
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
