Job Summary
Operate and support CNC fiber laser and CNC press brakes to produce precision-cut sheet metal parts. Set up, run, and monitor equipment; load materials; verify programs, tooling, and material; perform startup/shutdown and routine maintenance. Read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings, measure parts for accuracy, and ensure adherence to customer specifications. Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production goals, maintain a clean and organized work area per LEAN and 5S principles, and assist with tooling inventory. Swing shift; Arlington, TX manufacturing environment with PPE and safety protocols. Skills include CNC systems knowledge, reading drawings, use of measuring devices and hand tools, attention to detail, and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic knowledge of CNC systems and machine controls
- Ability to read production drawings and flat patterns
- Ability to use measuring devices and basic hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures
