Job Summary
Join our team as a CNC Machine Operator where you will be responsible for setting up and operating 4-axis CNC machines, changing raw stock and finished plates, and ensuring quality checks on produced parts. The role requires routine machine maintenance and effective communication regarding operational issues. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of CNC operating experience, technical expertise, and the ability to interpret blueprints and specifications. Successful applicants must exhibit strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety in the workplace.
Required Qualifications
- Technical training or certification in CNC machining or a related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing or production environment
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Familiarity with CNC machine programming (G-code) is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operation principles
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and varying temperatures
