Job Summary
Operate and monitor CNC DMG-Mori and Okuma milling and lathe machines, drill presses, and grinders while adjusting settings for optimal performance. Inspect parts for defects using measurement tools and report issues to ensure final products meet quality standards. Follow safety procedures, wear appropriate PPE, and adhere to industry regulations in a manufacturing environment. Work the 2nd shift from 4:30 pm to 3:00 am Monday through Thursday. High school diploma required; previous machine operation experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to stand for long periods
- Must be able to lift heavy objects
- Must be able to perform physical tasks in a manufacturing environment
- Must have basic written and verbal communication skills
- Must have understanding of safety standards
- Must be able to adhere to safety standards
- Must wear appropriate safety equipment (PPE) such as goggles, gloves, hearing protection
- Must be available for shift work, including nights, or overtime
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in machine operation or manufacturing environment
- Strong ability to identify defects or deviations in production
- Technical certifications or specialized training (e.g., CNC training)
