Job Summary
Conduct daily shift start-up meetings, operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, and inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools. Maintain production by identifying quality and machining issues, completing preventative maintenance, and documenting activities accurately. Keep the work area clean and safe while following standard work instructions and quality plans. This entry-level role involves continuous learning in a temperature-controlled environment with opportunities to advance into leadership.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic math skills, adding and subtracting fractions and decimals
- Self-motivated with an ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Machining experience or mechanical background
- Experience in a manufacturing production environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A willingness to work overtime hours as needed
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Frequent bending, reaching, and stooping
- Lifting materials weighing 25–35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Working safely around manufacturing equipment
- Passing required vision acuity testing, where applicable
