Job Summary
Operate drill presses, manual milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC milling machines while performing complex setups by loading programs and adjusting tools. Make program adjustments, load and unload materials, and verify settings by measuring first-run parts and samples against drawing specifications. Inspect finished products using calipers and micrometers, troubleshoot malfunctions, and maintain equipment and supplies. Document work continuity, keep areas clean per 5S standards, and follow OSHA and EPA safety rules. Requires 5–7 years of CNC experience, proficiency in basic math, and ability to work independently during the 2nd shift (2:30 PM – 11:30 PM EDT) in Trevose, PA. Includes a sign-on bonus and training on the 1st shift before transition.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand basic English
- Proficiency in basic math and trigonometry
- Ability to communicate and work as a team member
- Ability to work independently with minimum to no supervision
- Ability to read and understand part and tool prints
- Ability to use precision measuring tools and hold close tolerances
- Must be available to work during our 2nd shift hours of operation, 2:30 PM – 11:30 PM EDT
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 35 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- five (5) years of experience operating and programming CNC Mills or Lathes
- Seven (7) years of experience is preferred
