Job Summary
Operate and maintain CNC equipment (beam line, press brake, laser, or plasma table) to cut, bend, and form metal parts; read blueprints and work orders to ensure accurate production; perform tool changes, calibrations, and adjustments; inspect finished products with calipers, micrometers, gauges to verify dimensions; maintain equipment through routine cleaning and preventive maintenance; document work and report issues; follow safety protocols in a manufacturing shop with PPE and overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus
- Experience operating CNC machines such as beam line, press brake, laser, or plasma table
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Familiarity with metal fabrication processes, cutting, forming, and finishing
- Basic mechanical skills and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Physical ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
