Job Summary
Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines (beam line, press brake, laser, or plasma table) to cut, bend, and form metal parts. Read blueprints and work orders to ensure accurate production; perform tool changes, calibrations, and adjustments; inspect finished parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and quality. Maintain equipment through routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance; collaborate with team to meet daily production goals while upholding safety and quality standards; follow safety protocols and properly document work performed and any issues. Manufacturing shop environment with PPE requirements and potential overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating CNC machines (beam line, press brake, laser, or plasma table)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Familiarity with metal fabrication processes, cutting, forming, and finishing
- Basic mechanical skills and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus
