Job Summary
Maintain and repair CNC machines (mills and lathes) and related equipment, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, alignment and calibration, read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics, support installation and commissioning of new CNC machines, and collaborate with production to minimize downtime and improve machine performance. Requires 5+ years of CNC maintenance experience with Fanuc/Siemens/Haas or similar controls; hands-on machining knowledge; onsite in Edgerton, WI; 10-hour day schedule.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of CNC machine maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong background in machine alignment, leveling, and geometric calibration
- Practical machining knowledge and ability to run CNC equipment for testing purposes
- Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, or similar control systems (preferred)
- Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools (e.g., dial indicators, laser alignment systems, test indicators)
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and maintenance manuals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
