Job Summary
CNC Live Tool Lathe Operator on 2nd shift responsible for setup, operation, and maintenance of Doosan lathes with live tooling and Fanuc controls. Read blueprints/GD&T, perform tool changes and minor G-code edits, conduct in-process inspections with precision tools, monitor and adjust parameters for efficiency and tool life, ensure adherence to quality and dimensional standards, complete job travelers and production logs, and collaborate with programming, engineering, and quality teams while maintaining a safe, organized work area.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or machining certificate preferred.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and using standard inspection tools.
- Familiarity with G-code programming and ability to make minor edits and offsets at the machine.
- Strong understanding of speeds, feeds, cutting tools, and basic machining principles.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on second shift.
