Job Summary
CNC Lathe Set-Up/Operator to set up and operate Mazak CNC lathes/turning centers, edit Mazatrol programs, select tools and determine speeds/feeds, read blueprints/technical schematics, inspect parts for quality, perform routine maintenance, and work in a manufacturing cell. Requires Mazak Mazatrol experience, strong setup skills, ability to read English instructions, basic math including geometry/trigonometry, lifting up to 50 lbs, and willingness to adhere to safety procedures. Shift: 2nd shift; location: Strongsville, OH with benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401k eligibility, and paid vacation; background check and drug screen required; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- solid proven experience in CNC machining with lathe work
- strong Mazak setup experience using Mazatrol programming
- read and follow verbal instructions in Standard English
- basic mathematics including geometry and trigonometry
- lift or move up to 50 pounds regularly
- stand for long periods in a manufacturing environment
