Job Summary
Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes to fabricate precision parts while optimizing machining processes using Mazatrol and Fanuc controls. Perform regular quality checks with precision measuring instruments, interpret technical drawings and CAD models, and collaborate with engineering teams to review design modifications in SolidWorks. Conduct troubleshooting, adjustments, and minor repairs to maintain machine performance, support plastics injection molding when required, and ensure equipment reliability through preventative maintenance. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following all safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Programmer, CNC Machinist, or related role
- Proficiency in operating CNC lathes, milling machines, and EDM equipment
- Hands-on experience with Mazatrol programming and Fanuc controls
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar CAD software for design interpretation
- Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as bore gauges, calipers, and micrometers
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
