Job Summary
CNC Lathe Operator needed to operate and set up CNC lathe machinery on the shop floor in Mt. Orab, OH. Responsibilities include machine setup and changeovers, reading micrometers and blueprints, loading/editing/monitoring programs, tool and insert changes, inspecting parts for conformance to quality standards, maintaining production output, performing basic equipment maintenance, and ensuring a safe work environment. Requires reading instructions precisely, working in a temperature-controlled manufacturing environment, and being available for weekend/holiday schedules. On-site role with adherence to safety guidelines and continuous tooling changes and program updates.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma; Higher degree from a technical school preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.
- Experience as a CNC lathe operator
- Ability to follow all safety guidelines
