Job Summary
Conduct precision machining of complex components to meet production standards and specifications while performing in-process inspections. Retrieve and adhere to QAP documentation, verify tooling and gauging presence, and double-check measuring equipment against known standards. Evaluate cutting tool performance, diagnose equipment issues, and perform autonomous maintenance such as fluid topping. Clean work areas, maintain order, and report faulty machines or drawing discrepancies to supervisors. Work Monday through Thursday from 6:00am to 4:30pm. Adhere to all HSE policies and physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs. Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months - 1 years' experience operating lathe turning centers with live tooling capabilities
- Familiar with the use of precision tools and instruments
- Ability to understand G and M code
- Good knowledge and understanding of machine cutting tools
- Strong mathematical skills
- Must be able to read and interpret charts, drawings, and blueprints
- Understands the need for accuracy, is highly organized and demonstrates and strong attention to detail
- Familiar with GD&T symbols
- Must be able to read, interpret and follow work instructions
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work well and be productive with minimal supervision
- Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and lift; use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Can lift and carry products up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others

- Technical program certificate or degree
- Basic PC Skills
- Okuma/Mazak control experience
