Job Summary
Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC equipment independently and safely. Read process travelers, setup journals, tooling sheets, and operation sheets to produce complex finished products. Make tooling adjustments and program offsets as needed while accurately inspecting work using OD & ID gaging, indicators, micrometers, height stands, and verniers. Perform daily TPM responsibilities, maintain housekeeping, and comply with all safety rules and regulations. Actively participate in cross-training, cost savings, and team activities. Work the 2nd shift with a minimum of 3 years of aerospace CNC machining experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of aerospace CNC machining experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- US Person (Green Card Holder or United States Citizen)
- Ability to accurately inspect work utilizing various instruments, including OD & ID indicating gaging, indicators, micrometers, height stands and verniers
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to frequently stand
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
- Ability to walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Desired Qualifications
- Degree/certificate from vocation school or college program
