Job Summary
CNC Lathe Machinist on 2nd shift in Phoenix, AZ, responsible for precision aerospace machining of castings and forgings, setup and validation of CNC programs, inspection with geometric tolerancing, reading blueprints, operating vertical and horizontal lathes, and collaborating with engineering, programming, and management to optimize machining and fixtures, all within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. Emphasizes attention to detail, strong communication, teamwork, and a track record of quality.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in CNC machining
- Expertise in precision machining of aerospace hardware, including various materials
- Proficient in setup and validation of CNC programs
- Strong knowledge of geometric tolerancing
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints for aerospace applications
- Competency in using precision measuring equipment
- Effective communication skills and a positive attitude
