Job Summary
Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment, reading blueprints and work orders to select and load correct materials. Inspect finished parts using measuring tools, perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting, and maintain accurate production records. Keep work areas clean and organized while following safety and quality procedures. This role supports efficient production in a clean manufacturing environment at Metcore in Williamston, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience operating CNC laser equipment or similar manufacturing machinery
- Manufacturing, machine operator, or metal fabrication experience
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
- Basic computer skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, including standing for extended periods, lifting materials as needed, and working in a manufacturing environment, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen
