Job Summary
Assist with setup of machine, tooling, and fixtures while learning to operate CNC laser equipment. Form and cut material per work orders and blueprints, then complete quality inspections using appropriate measuring tools. Produce parts by placing raw material, removing finished goods, packing, and hand-cutting where applicable. Use beginner M&G code knowledge for minor adjustments and create inventory tickets via manufacturing software. Follow safety guidelines, handle parts, and practice general housekeeping. Complete required training in RFC Academy, quality standards, and blueprint reading. Work Monday through Thursday evenings from 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM.
Required Qualifications
- One to three months of related experience and/or training
- CNC machines
- Machine set-up
- Metalworking
- Welding/fabrication
- Computer Skills
- Knowledge of Manufacturing software
- Ability to learn how to new programs
- Able to lift 75 lbs. on a regular basis
- Able to work shift assigned
- Able to work overtime as needed
- Open to WE-Nights
- Open to 2nd Shift (5:00PM - 3:30AM Monday to Thursday)
Desired Qualifications
- Consistent experience in manufacturing setting in set-up and machine operation or metal fabrication
- Setting up/running CNC equipment
- Performing part quality inspections
- Blueprint reading
- Experience with making adjustments to CNC programs
- Strong work history including good longevity in previous roles
