CNC I position in Fabrication includes operating computer-controlled fabrication machines (punch press, milling machine, saws, and secondary equipment), performing inspections of machined parts with calipers and gauges, assisting with tool offsets, tool changes, jaw and fixture changes, and performing preventative maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition. The role emphasizes hands-on machining, measurement accuracy, and upkeep of production equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of machine operating procedures normally acquired through a minimum of (3) months experience in a similar position.
- Basic understanding of computer entry.
- Proficient math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
- Ability to read, count, and accurately measure.
