Job Summary
CNC Grinder 2 sought to operate grinding and polishing equipment for finishing rollers and wheels, verify dimensions with calipers/micrometers/gauges, load/unload parts, and maintain production records. Role requires reading work instructions, performing grinding per specifications, monitoring for defects, assisting with setup and routine maintenance, and adhering to safety/quality procedures. Preferred candidates have 2–3+ years in manufacturing or machine operation, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, strong teamwork, and able to lift up to 40 pounds in an 8+ hour shift. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 2–3+ years of manufacturing, machine operation, or grinding experience preferred
- Experience operating grinders, lathes, polishing equipment, or similar manufacturing machinery is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate manufacturing equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic understanding of precision measuring tools and inspection methods
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout an 8+ hour shift
- Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment and moving machinery
