Job Summary
Field Service Technician specializing in CNC equipment (Haas) responsible for traveling to customer sites to install, repair, and maintain CNC machine tools and controls. Must troubleshoot using online manuals and vendor resources, document status updates for customers, perform preventative maintenance, and support after-sales service and training. Role requires mechanical/electrical repair skills, ability to read drawings/schematics, proficiency with office software, strong communication, and the ability to work in dynamic, industrial environments. Training and factory certification are provided within the first year. Regular regional travel is expected; position is dispatched from home with a company vehicle and covered travel expenses.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in mechanical/electrical repair or engineering; CNC repair background a plus
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics
- Software experience (e.g., Microsoft Office); requires use of laptop and various software applications
- Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills
- Must be able to meet physical requirements; able to lift 40-50 pounds
- Flexibility to travel frequently within a regional territory; home-based dispatch from your home
- Training in CNC repair and Haas equipment; factory certification within the first year
