Job Summary
CNC Field Service Technician needed to travel to customer sites to install, repair, and maintain Haas CNC machine tools and controls. Responsible for troubleshooting, performing preventative maintenance, and providing after-sales technical support and training. Role includes on-boarding with factory certification within the first year, documentation of service activities, and working from a home base with dispatched travel via company vehicle to customer facilities. Requires mechanical/electrical repair capability, ability to read drawings/schematics, proficiency with software tools (e.g., MS Office), strong communication/presentation skills, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and extensive regional travel. Training in CNC repair and Haas equipment is part of the onboarding process. Describes a safety-conscious, mobile role supporting customers across a regional territory with occasional long hours and varying environments.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in mechanical/electrical repair or engineering (CNC repair background a plus)
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics
- Software experience (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- Capability to meet physical requirements (lifting up to 50 lbs)
- Frequent travel and driving within a regional territory
- Home-dispached to customer sites; company vehicle and gas provided for travel
- On-boarding training with factory certification within first year
- Strong technical, communication, and presentation skills
- Willingness to work in dynamic manufacturing environments
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair CNC machine tools and controls
