CNC Field Service Technician

Job Summary
Install, repair, and maintain CNC machine tool equipment and controls at customer sites; travel to customer locations within a regional territory to diagnose, troubleshoot, and complete installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance. Utilize machine tool manuals, technical documents, and vendor resources to research issues; document status and communicate with customers and the office; provide after-sales technical support and training. Maintain deep knowledge of machine tool products represented by the company and perform related duties as needed to support customers in manufacturing environments.
Required Qualifications
- Five years’ experience with CNC machine repair
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other business programs as required
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics is required
- Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills are necessary
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job including flexible hours and frequent travel and driving throughout a regional territory
