CNC Field Service Technician

Job Summary
Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains CNC machine tool equipment and controls at customer sites, traveling regionally to service machines and support customers. Uses machine tool manuals, technical documents, and vendor resources to diagnose issues, completes documentation on status of issues, repairs, and installations, promotes preventative maintenance, and provides after-sales technical support and training. Maintains deep knowledge of machine tool products represented by the company and performs related duties as required. Strong focus on safety, mobility, and ability to work in dynamic industrial environments. Requisites include five years of CNC repair experience, ability to read drawings and schematics, excellent communication/presentation skills, and ability to travel frequently within a regional territory.
Required Qualifications
- Five years’ experience with CNC machine repair
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other business programs as required
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics is required
- Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills are necessary
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job including flexible hours and frequent travel and driving throughout a regional territory
