Job Summary
CNC Field Service Technician responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of machine tool equipment and controls (Fanuc, Siemens, etc.) at customer sites. Travel to customer locations to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain machine tool equipment; document status of issues and repairs; perform preventative maintenance; provide after-sales technical support and training; maintain in-depth knowledge of machine tool products represented by the company; demonstrate strong technical, communication, and presentation skills; adapt to regional travel and physically demanding shop-floor environments.
Required Qualifications
- Five years’ experience with CNC machine repair
- Experience with reading and interpreting drawings and schematics
- Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills
- Able to meet physical requirements of the job including traveling and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in industrial environments and use PPE
