Job Summary
CNC Field Service Technician responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of machine tool equipment and controls (Fanuc, Siemens, etc.) across customer sites. Travels to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain machine tool equipment and controls; researches machine issues using manuals and vendor resources; documents status of issues, repairs, and installations; promotes and performs preventative maintenance; maintains in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines; performs related duties as required and provides post-sales technical support and training.
Required Qualifications
- Five years’ experience with CNC machine repair
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics
- Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills
- Must be able to meet physical requirements and travel frequently across a regional territory
