Job Summary
CNC Field Service Technician needed to travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machine tool equipment and controls; perform preventative maintenance and provide after-sales technical support and training; requires 5-10 years in mechanical/electrical repair of CNC machine tools with Haas/Fanuc/Siemens/Acramatic background a plus; must read electrical/mechanical drawings, document status of repairs, and be able to lift 50 lbs and operate lifting equipment; travel with occasional overnight stays; salary $20-$35/hr with benefits; flexible hours and regional travel.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 to10 years’ experience in mechanical/ electrical repair of CNC machine tools; experience with Haas, Fanuc, Siemens, and Acramatic control repair is a plus
- Experience with reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills
- Must be able to meet physical requirements (climbing ladders, lifting 50 lbs) and able to operate lifting equipment
- Ability to travel regionally and maintain insurable driving record
