Job Summary
Create and send quotes and toolpaths using proprietary software and customer-supplied CAD models while establishing quality control checks for manufacturing usage. Resolve issues preventing auto-quoting within organizational software and develop internal process knowledge to respond to customer inquiries regarding materials and CNC capabilities. Collaborate with internal resources to answer customer questions and provide assistance to machine operators for troubleshooting parts and part creation. Consistently evaluate best practices for self, team, and company improvement while complying with all safety standards and operational procedures. Work Monday through Friday from 11am to 7pm in a manufacturing environment requiring attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents (green card holders) or foreign nationals granted refugee or asylee status
- Experience with CAD/CAM software packages
- Ability to learn advanced proprietary graphical computer-aided analysis software
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to multitask and prioritize own workload
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to comprehend and follow printed and computer-screen instructions, and direction from supervisors or technical leads
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar preferred
- Experience with CNC operated machines
