CNC EHRT Operator - Copper & Busbar Fabrication

Job Summary
Set up and operate EHRT CNC punching and bending machines to produce copper busbars for electrical cabinets and server infrastructure. Read 2D/3D technical drawings and CAD/CAM specs, then perform precise dimensional checks using callipers and micrometers to meet strict tolerances. Execute tool changes, daily machine calibration, and minor troubleshooting while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workstation. Select and adjust punch and die sets for non-ferrous metals, and operate a forklift and overhead traveling crane to transport heavy stock. Requires proven experience with EHRT machines, blueprint reading, and precision measuring. Valid forklift and crane certifications are strong pluses.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience operating CNC press brakes, metal punching, or bending machinery
- Experience with EHRT machines EB 40
- Ability to independently read and interpret 2D/3D technical drawings
- Ability to interpret CAD layouts
- Ability to interpret fabrication schematics
- Proficiency in using hand-held measuring instruments
- Experience with calipers
- Experience with micrometers
- Experience with protractors
- Experience verifying tight tolerances
- Experience selecting punch and die sets
- Experience changing punch and die sets
- Experience adjusting punch and die sets
- Experience with non-ferrous metals
- Experience with copper
- Experience with aluminum
- Good working knowledge of English
Desired Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification
- Experience operating a forklift
- Experience operating an overhead traveling crane
- Certification for overhead traveling crane operation
