Job Summary
Set up, program and operate EDM wire and sinker machines; design electrodes using Solidworks, Autocad, or Mastercam; maintain tolerance control to .0002 and read micrometers, calipers, gauges and other inspection tools; perform inspections and dimensional checks to ensure conformance; presete tooling for setups and tool breakages; monitor equipment for part integrity and conduct preventative maintenance; maintain tooling per tool-life guidelines and apply basic safety and quality-practice standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- Complete knowledge of Standard Operating Procedure Manual
- 2-3 year of plant experience or equivalent
