CNC Department Leader

Oversee all operations within the CNC machining division, ensuring on-time delivery, quality output, and efficient workflow for new builds, engineering changes, and repair projects. Review incoming jobs with management to assign direction, verify team member adherence to schedules, and maintain the production schedule as needed. Develop burn maps for projects moving to EDM, coordinate purchasing for tooling, and prioritize workloads based on project timelines. Lead bi-weekly department meetings, conduct employee evaluations, and manage disciplinary actions while fostering an accountable culture. Submit weekly hour reports to payroll, ensure full compliance with OSHA and safety standards, and represent the company professionally across departments.
